womb wellness; menopause pathway
take ownership of your natural menopause journey
menopause support in surrey & sussex
holistic therapy to help guide you through your menopause naturally
the menopause is the completion of the menstrual life cycle, as the journey begins, in the perimenopause, there can be unexpected or difficult emotions as we recognise ourselves in this life phase.
the hormonal & physical fluctuations that accompany this time can be hard to manage, embarrassing & confusing and there are many choices to manage the transition which may not always seem clear or aligned with our own lifestyle choices.
over 3 sessions together we can explore the physiology of menopause, gain an understanding of the hormonal adaptation & how to manage symptoms such as hot flushes, vaginal changes, mood & emotional unrest & irregular bleeding.
each session combines some time to talk with a deeply nourishing womb & sacral massage to gently rebalance the womb & reaffirm the relationship with your inner wisdom.
please take a look below at what you can expect & feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to arrange a no-obligation chat.

what benefits may i feel?
the traditional mizan abdominal therapy has been used for decades to tone, strengthen & nourish the womb & pelvic muscles.
the stress relieving benefits of receiving a massage are widely known, yet the uniqueness of womb massage therapy enables us to work with the most sacred, yet vulnerable self. there is often a deep felt emotional release through the womb therapy that can help move trapped, stuck or negative emotions or trauma, and i can hold a safe space for you if this arises.
on a physical level;
we work directly with the womb, improving the circulation & blood flow to the pelvis and the pelvic organs.
cleansing the body, helps to flush toxins & remove any stagnation
can help alleviate menstrual pain or physical discomfort when bleeding.
balances hormones, can improve irregular or heavy menstrual bleeding & help to manage erratic mood swings or overwhelming emotions.
eases digestive problems, including bloating, constipation or diarrhoea.
reduces stress & anxiety, we look to create a loving connection between the heart & the wombspace, acknowledging the completion of the cycle, giving thanks & honouring the womb as a pathway of acceptance.

common questions
where do the treatments take place?
the treatments will be held within your own home, so that you can enjoy the time, stress free without travelling. i find this has many benefits, mainly being that you can climb into bed straight after your massage!
what space is needed?
somewhere private where you will be undisturbed for the 90minute massage. i will bring my heated massage table which needs space about the size of a single bed with access to a plug point.
can i receive the massage if i am menstruating or ovulating?
the massage cannot be given when you are ovulating, if you are unsure of this timing, please let me know & we can discuss a good time for you. if you are menstruating, the lower womb massage cannot be given since it can cause discomfort or even disrupt menstrual flow. the upper abdominal & sacral massage can be received if this feels appropriate for you. please advise where you will be on your cycle when booking in.
how many treatments will be needed?
the package includes 3 initial treatments, with self care practice encouraged in between sessions. if further sessions are needed or you would simply like to continue to receive a regular massage, additional sessions can be booked at a special discounted rate.
what should i wear for the massage?
during the massage at all times you will be covered with a sheet & blankets. for the most benefit it is ideal to have no trousers, only underwear, however if you prefer you can choose to wear loose fitting trousers which can be lowered. you can choose to keep loose clothing on your top, however you feel most comfortable. i always encourage warm socks to help keep feet nice & cosy during the massage, since this is a pathway to bring warmth to the womb!
are there any contraindications to the massage?
you cannot receive the massage if you may be pregnant the womb massage. please advise me if you currently have an IUD coil in place, or have any current vaginal infections such as thrush or fungal infections., since the womb massage cannot be received in this cases. if you have any current prolapse issues, or abdominal separation please let me know so that i can adapt the massage to your needs.
where do you travel to?
i currently travel within 1 hours drive from my home in dorking.
covering areas of se.london, surrey & sussex. please drop me a line if you’re unsure!
if you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to send me a message, there is no such thing as a silly question :)
